Our Mission

Since 1999, the Recycling Coalition of WV, Inc. has been advocating recycling and West Virginians to make purchasing decisions based on recycled content or the ability to recycle the material once the product has completed its useful life. We coordinate annual programs like the ReFashion Show, give prizes for participants who sign a pledge to support recycling, sponsor youth contests, provide teacher lesson plans on trash and recycling.

The slogan presents multiple messages: a recycled product or material can return to
consumers as another new product; recycling comes back to consumers as an improved
environment; and it is everyone’s responsibility to recycle.
